investigating javascript errors

Hi all,

Has anyone else received this message from Omnis js?

Error
Exception occurred when executing client method:
Error setting ilErrorRecords: data cannot be converted to List
Related Form: rjsSysLogErrorsEvents

ilErrorRecords is a list that displays data after a series of sql worker fetches so when I click the button and sql queries get fired off, ilErrorRecords has no content when execution finishes but a second or two later the results are displayed.  This message appears before the content is displayed.

I just don’t know where to look next.
Is there a “best browser” to probe into javascript errors?  Safari isn’t giving me any clues.  There used to be a “developer” menu in one of the browsers but I can’t see it any more.
