Wish List - Toggle Show as checked out

Hi Caroline,

I think that would be useful too!

Even better if we could use GIT for version control, then we wouldn't need to worry about other developers having the component checked out.

Regards
Paul.

But sometimes we have to just get on with things! So I copy the class out of VCS to make sure I am working on the most recent available version, toggle the class out, work and test with that toggled out version (documenting the changes I am making heavily!) and then, when the class becomes available for check out from the VCS, I check it out and make the changes and check in again.

You have to go into the VCS to see if you have it really checked out or not. If it were to appear in a different colour or with a little icon to indicate that it is toggled rather than checked out, it would be easier and safer.

I took the shell off my racing snail, thinking it would make him run faster. If anything, it made him more sluggish.
