Yes, thats a point.
Mike, this technique is not the same as the code based one I received from the list (you, I think) which I cannot now find. It worked well at the time, and had the advantage of being able to be included in a toolbox class. Is it no longer effective or safe, or don't you have it?
And, Martin, this bug has been there for donkey's years, and had no known cause last time I discussed it. It just happens. All part of the fun.

Ah, thinking more, you can combine 2 & 3 together, I just do that to make sure all of the remaining objects are the silly ones, and not something way off screen.
Use the Field list to show them.

Hello Mike
1 Duplicate the broken class.
2 Remove all of the visible objects, leaving these hidden ones.
3 Select ALL and delete with DEL key (now those silly ones are gone, leaving the methods and variables intact)
4 Open duplicate class, select All and drag back into original window.
5 Delete duplicate class.

Hi
I have been struck by the bug that creates thousands of fields with $name = 0
I used to have a code snippet for deleting these, but I'm darned if I can find it. Can someone send it to me?
Sorry to have to ask.
