Exif data (Euromnis 2024)

I thought I saw something in Studio 11 release notes for something called ‘oImage’. It lets you create QR codes, determine the size of an image and transform (rotate) it in a number of ways.
The image can be jpeg or png.
here’s the omnis documentation link
https://www.omnis.net/developers/resources/onlinedocs/FunctionRef/Functions_A-Z/oimage-transform.html#oimage.transform
it appears that it doesn’t give you the EXIF information (I think that would be a reasonable enhancement request), but if you have an image on screen in a picture field, that is visible to a user, then you could certainly expose some sort of interface that lets the user rotate it and display it
if that helps solve the root of your problem.
but I do think that a request to omnis for exif data might be useful as well.
