Scotte's right, $selectionbackcolor is new in Studio 11 and missing in Studio 10. But it "only applies when the control has the focus"
The docs say:
> The $selectionbackcolor property is the back color of selected lines; kColorDefault means use the default color. When not kColorDefault the specified color only applies when the control has the focus. The $selectiontextcolor property is the text color of selected lines; kColorDefault means use the default color. When not kColorDefault applies irrespective of whether the control has the focus.
And it's true, a green hilighted line becomes dark gray when the window goes to the background, and I assume the same if focus moves to another field (I didn't have one handy for testing). So if you're in Studio 11, you might look at using $selectiontextcolor, which doesn't change when losing focus.
