All

I remember many years ago being on the email path of someone at Arthur
Andersons, the old accountancy firm.

Their email and HR were integrated. In each email was embedded, at the
base, an injection from the HR software stating when the author's next
rostered days off or holidays were. This feature was very useful if you
were on the receiving end of a demand or pleas that some piece of work be
given priority simply because the person was going on holidays and wanted
to "clear their desk" before their rostered break.

Another similar process is to postpone sending of emails where the time of
creation and postponement is embedded in the email.

Just some thoughts
