Zebra TC72

Hi wayne

We are not using zebra so I don’t know if you are saddled with having to use them or just exploring

We use lineapro devices to scan ticket bar codes. Does ladder or QR codes and it required an app we wrote to get the scanned info back to our web site for processing

The notion scanning tickets is that you want to scan, interrogate a database, determine if the scan is ok or for the wrong night or already used for that event

Maybe more logic than you need, but might indicate that you need to have some smarts on the device to get data someplace to be processed

Making an app for the app store made us iOS only

We have just rewritten the app to run on iOS and android using react (I believe) to make it “cross platform” on mobile devices and also work with built in camera on the devices. Making purchase of the lineapro optional

Essentially if you read. Between the lines, we are moving to off the shelf mobile devices giving user choice of device without buying specialty hardware

All that is incidental to what you asked. Just in case you are at the exploratory phase on devices
