OT: Mac Terminal Replacement?

The program called TERMINAL on the Mac surely works, but it lacks one thing I want:  The ability to see and use one of your past commands.

So like you input commands with Terminal, and sometimes you need to do the same command again on another day.

A list of past used commands would be nice.

That’s what I want.

Does that exist?

Can’t seem to figure this out on the App Store. 

Any of you already using something that does this?
