Address validation

hi andrew.

you can send stuff to google api and get back geocoded addresses and it will tell you zip/postal code and such.


we’ve used that for a bout 10 years.   it doesn’t fix addresses the way the postal service might like, but it can give you back decent stuff.

plus we get latitude/longitude of the address which we store int he database to do things like ‘distance of customers form a specific point'
