Omnis Studio Windows IDE vs MacOS IDE

Hi $all,

Switching from MDI to SDI isn't a trivial exercise - I would imagine that the process would be a major rewrite.  There are a number of UI elements that don't fit an SDI paradigm, so things would have to change.  It reminds me of when Omnis was available for Linux desktop - the menu bar/toolbar was a separate window to everything else. It was a little strange coming from a Mac, but what else can you do with an IDE where the global toolbar and menu bar are an important part of the system?

I do my dev on the Mac, and run Parallels for any Windows testing that I need to do - best of both worlds I think!
