Why does HTTPS act this way?

Dear Friends,

I have two sites which I have forwarded to my main site.

When I type just their names, without https:// they go to the correct site fast.

When I type them with https they hang and fail to respond.

Why would that be?

The two forwarded sites are 

Jyotishstudio.com
Goravanijyotish.com

The site they go to is 

Goravani.com

I don’t get why https won’t work. 

One of them is secured at the server they WOULD BE served by. That is jyotishstudio.com <http://jyotishstudio.com/>.  It is secure at the server. 

But they both act like they don’t understand https:// at all.
