Postgres says my password is invalid

I am reinstalling Postgres.

I deleted the Postgres folder, first I used uninstall, it left the data directory so I deleted the Postgres folder.

I deleted the user it creates so that it would recreate it when I reinstall.

I am now reinstalling, and at the very end, it is giving an error, saying:

“Failed to load SQL modules into the database cluster”

With an OK button and that’s all.

I got this last time too.

I restarted in-between. 

Now what do I do?

This is frustrating.
