Lack of default printer crashing omnis

I'll second Doug's experience. We were on 3.3, then 5.1 for quite some time and this was a guaranteed way to crash Omnis.
This problem stopped occurring when we moved to 8.0 and I haven't seen it since.

Can anybody tell me if this has been resolved in later versions? If so, what version eliminated that issue? Is there maybe a DLL that could be copied over to a prior version to stop this from happening?
