We use Ubuntu

Ubuntu and Debian are very similar, but they have some major differences too. Ubuntu is geared more towards user friendliness, and has a more corporate feel. Debian, on the other hand, is more concerned with software freedom and options. It's a non-profit project, and it has that sort of culture around it as well.

Ubuntu has various flavors, we the KDE version which renames the opening screen to Kubuntu.
It is easy to install just answer all the questions.

Which leads to the question: "What is a good desktop environment for Debian?"

Hopefully one that does not take days to install and configure if that’s possible.
