Texting from Omnis?

hi Andrew.
I agree — user a service that integrates it because the tough part is making sure which phone carrier the user has and if they change their carrier, its is hassle to keep that up to date.
but .. this is how SMS messaging works.. its an email to a phone number. thats the rudimentary part of it.
I wouldn’t want to rebuild twillio and whatever it does n the background - so, as Scotte says, use an external vendor.
I just wanted to demystify the process. omnis can do it. I wouldn't want to write my own unless it was for internal use like texting a support person to fix something.
