Texting from Omnis?

There are a couple of ways of doing text messages from Omnis. One requires you to know the cell phone provider of the person you are texting to, and the other does not.

In the first case, you send an email to something like 5099980991 at vzw.com <mailto:5099980991 at vzw.com> and the carrier sends it as a text message to their client.

In the second case, you interface with some third-party service like http://www.twilio.com <http://www.twilio.com/> and use their API. It allows for sending and receiving and you pay by the message or by volume.
