Understanding IMAP Demo

Well I put an asterisk in the "Mailboxes to list" field and got a list of mailboxes.

One disturbing thing about them though is that they have a special character in their names,

Trash��* L

I don’t know how the character is going to come through on the list here, but what it looks like is a diamond with a question mark inside it.. a black diamond 

But I can work with this. 

I can now see if it lists messages for these mailboxes
