Monterey Weirdness

So I may be a bit late to the party but upgraded my mac to Monterey(12.3).  After that the appearance in 10.1 is really wonky.
I have discovered the Appearance setting in Omnis Prefs.  I have been able to adjust most settings back to usable states except for line selections and Data entry field focus.  Both instances fill the space with a black box so the text is unreadable. What setting am I missing?
