Thanks to all that replied publicly and privately.

I now have a 35 year old version of Theatre Manager (omnis 3+) running on Big Sur (using sheep shaver)…

hardest part was setting up the file associations since finder, back then, was very dependant on the resource fork and finder bits.



Next journey, getting Omnis 7+ and that version of Theatre Manager to run.


it is so nice to look back at nostalga and reflect on  ‘is that all that it took to make a product’.         The interface we made was so simplistic to fit on a 9” mac plus screen.        and Omnis still runs, 35 years later.
