Perhaps you should report this to Omnis. I have done the conversion many times when helping out at there development stage.

Just checking, did you add 
Do $root.$devices.Screen.$visible.$assign(kTrue)Do $root.$prefs.$mapdmltodam.
$assign("SQLITEDAM")
or which ever sql that you are using?
