I would want to be able to pass extra headers.  Off the top of my head we
frequently will use a token / transaction id header that gets added post
authentication as opposed to emedding this as cgi data in evert get and
post href link in the page hrml.

I would arguue being able to pass a list of extra headers is an essential
feature for many purposes.
