name of current list in OS10.1

Hehy Andrew,

Don't know if this helps but from memory:

Do $cwind.$objs.$sendall($ref.$linehtextra.$assign(lvLineHeight),$ref.$objtype=kList)

Could be wrong about $objtype, might have that name wrong, but with the correct name it should adjust the line height of all your lists on the Window.

Cheers,

Bas

Subject: Re: name of current list in OS10.1

I wasn’t using it for add to list or anything, under Big Sur and Catalina the lines of my lists are really tight together and hard to read so I set a user preference for extra pixels (5 is good) and every time a window was opened with a list I then used Alan Perrin’s

$cwind.$objs.List.$linehtextra.$assign(lvLineHeight)

to set the line height to be legible, so instead of hard coding every list name in the construct of that list I was looking for notation to auto set the line height so in the above notation the word List could be replaced with the name of the list automatically
