how about a different route.

the OW3 workers in Studio 10 are based on CURL.  

There is an example in the studio that does a lot.   We adapted to check that an internet connection is only TLS 1.2 and above.  and we use it to FTP things to a workstation in the background. 

CURL seems to be a swiss army knife of capabilities ((I think that should appeal to you)


Google search and CURL LDAPS …. I got a hit from 2016 — which implies that people have done it, or are alt least trying it.

that might give you a place to start.      I have not done this.  so its research kind of topic.


it it is like the rest of curl, you can pass parameters to it and configure how it works (in the oW3 workers)
