Jerry Lipscomb - Service Information

Hey everyone.  I've reached out to Jerry Lipscomb's wife Tara on Facebook.
Like most of you, I remember communicating with Jerry over our email groups
extensively since the early 90's.  The best part for me was getting to meet
Jerry for the first time at the Denver conference last year.  We talked
about everything.  Including when Omnis was almost purchased by Apple! How
we had both worked in Omnis for a long time, but had to step away for a
while to work on other technologies, but how we were both coming back into
the fold. Great conversation!  What an absolute amazing guy. So finding out
someone as young as him has passed away just took the wind out of me.

 

I got this information from his wife Tera!  There is going to be a service
online this Sunday at 10AM mountain time.  Feel free to let me know if you
have any questions and I'll forward them to his wife!

Celebrating the Life of Jerry Lipscomb

 

On Thursday September 10th, the world lost a shining light when Jerry passed
on to the next plane.

 

Jerry was much more than just a loving husband to Tara, great father to his
children, amazing brother, and superb friend to all he knew. He was able to
bring light to everyone he touched, never saying hello without a smile and
the offer of a hug. He had a special way of making your day with his true
desire to know each person he met on a deeper level. The hole he has left in
the lives of so many will be impossible to fill, let's take comfort in
knowing he lived every day to its fullest and loved everyone deeply,
especially his amazing wife Tara.

 

Please join Jerry's wife Tara, his daughters Stephany and Kayla, and his
Brothers & Sister-in-law, Andy, Michael, and Rhoda; as we say goodbye on
Sunday September 20th at 10 am.

 

Because of the restrictions in place to combat the spread of COVID-19 the
memorial will be held virtually and is limited to 1000 computer connections.

We invite each of you to get together with your tribe and log on together to
say goodbye one final time to our very special friend Jerry.
