I’ll wait and see how much I need to learn Spanish.. I know only a few words.. thankfully it’s an easy to language to learn, structured enough like English.. I took it in High School.. we’ll see how much I need.. when I start shopping in Nogales the rubber will meet the road and I’ll know.. In my life, at this stage, a few very key things are “off” from my norm.. and desert living is one of them.. I’ve never lived for long “South of the Bay Area”, that’s SF latitude.. mild.. and northern.. colder.. burned up once when I lived in LA for awhile.. and that’s not as hot as where I’m going.. but that burn up was partly due to the fact that I was living in the heart of Hollywood and the people around were all absorbed in that thing.. and I wasn’t.. the pressure to behave certain ways is tremendous there.. it really gets to ya.. Hollywood is only for the incredibly egoistic person.. you must be very ego strong to live there. One thing I like about where I’m going is that we will be in Mountain Air.. I have loved that before, at that type of latitude.. I did live once in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains, inland from Fresno.. near Kings Canyon, at 3000 feet and it was hot during the summer.. high desert like conditions.. same as where I’m going.. but where I’m going will get hotter.. it is nice at other times of the year as was said.. it’s actually cool most of the time.. I like that it will be “country” and not city.. for a change.. but I’ll miss knowing there’s a metropolis around me.. we order food in sometimes here and that factility will be gone..

I said all that in my original post I think.. sorry.. it’s on my mind.. all of this..

Specifically I’ll be in a small town called Patagonia Arizona, 20 miles from border town Nogales Arizona/Mexico.. that’s where I’ll have to shop and so forth… a border town with a fence straight through it right up the middle.. equal civilization on both sides of the fence, a big town with a border crossing both car and pedestrian..
