I’m just taking a break from coding for a little bit.. doing in a row 1. An upgrade, 2. Moving to SQL, 3. Setting up the app server, 4. Redoing the atlas data in my app
All that got me burnt out.. on coding.. plus we’re moving eventually soon and been packing and going through stuff.. just doing other things. When I code I always end up on the list for something or other.
We are all meditating apparently.
I’m moving to near the Mexican border.. down in Arizona, where it gets to be 105 in the summer. Not my choice as much as I’m tagging along on someone else’s choice. But change is good.. been in Oregon a long time.. try and flex my sunshine muscles next down closer to the equator. Going to be living in a house built on the guidelines of the ancient Indian system of “Vastu”, which is the science of resonance for buildings.. teaches certain principles and measurements for creating better homes, temples, etc.. so that’s weird, going to be living in a very rare house.. there aren’t many in America at all.. I was told it’s on Google Maps and other places as “Vastu Garba”… and it shows you a pic, I was told.. the house has a type of steeple and internal echo.. should be interesting.
Good things are coming. I always say. Hello and Good Day to all of you on here.
Watched a movie about Steve Jobs, a documentary that’s on Netflix, and was again reminded more fully this time on how he was a mix of things including really difficult. What made the Mac is one very pushy man. He didn’t really live or do things which would warrant the outpouring of grief and love at his passing.. the documentary made that point repeatedly.. it wasn’t a Steve apologist approach, it was more criticize the dude.. and they had footage to show, juxtapositions of sections of footage and facts from the world.. interviews, people who were really close.. like Lisa’s mom.. very interesting show..
Shocked at the passing of Eddie Van Halen.. makes me feel more old and at risk, totally a my generation guy
That’s my brief update.
Taking it slow these days.
