Studio 10.1 windows - program freezes with blue circle spinning

Does F1 work at this point, or has it gone south?

I get this on OSX recently.  The whole menu bar is useless, not grey, and sometimes CMND-Q will work. But F1 does work for the help stuff, which sometimes revives it.

I get this happening if I have left Studio, maybe gone to sleep, the Mac that is, and come back.  But not consistently by any means.

I have a client running studio 10.1 on windows. When they have the program
running and do something else on their computer (other than Studio) or leave
it for a while sitting there, when they try to do something in the program
it freezes with the blue circle spinning. Never happens when they are
actively using the program. Only way out is ALT/CTRL/DELETE. I have checked
the datafile and put on a clean copy of the program, so am fairly sure it
isn't the program. They moved the library and datafile to a different server
in case it was the server - they thought their security camera system which
ran on the server may have been causing it - made no difference.



This started happening a few days ago. Any ideas on what to look at next.
