Droplist not displaying correctly

Droplists have a “calculation” property which is where you put a field name you want to show as the data it displays when it drops.

I have one that won’t display it’s assigned field, the calculation is just one field  “jet_list_name”

That field is IN the list that is assigned as it’s list

The list is only about 8 lines.. it’s a small list

The lines show.. blank.. the list drops.. all blank.. nothing shows

Selecting it does the wrong thing as if there is no list connected.

The list exists in memory and should display on the drop list.

Any ideas about what makes a droplist misbehave ?
