Can a Mac be a full blown web server?

Well I just tried turning on Apache on the old MacBookPro with 4 GB of RAM and it worked.. so Apache is in there..

I dont even know if 64 bit Omnis runs on it.. or if there is a 32 bit version of 10.1.. or if the app server is 32 or 64 bit… or either..

I thought the App Server was just Omnis serialized a certain way.. but then something I read said the App Server is a separate piece of software, dont know at this point which is true.. I have serial numbers but am so new I dont know basics yet

This old 15 Mac is in SUCH good shape.. it’s sad.. I dont use it for anything.. I cannot get for it what I put into it refurbishing it a couple years ago.. it’s in pristine condition because it has a new top case.. new keyboard.. looks brand spanking new.. and it’s not that old.. 12 years old..

Well for only $500 I can get a speedy Windows machine with a great big monitor.. big SSD and 16 GB of RAM.. with fast Ethernet however I’d like it to be done.. over power or Bluetooth..

One option would be to leave my current setup with GoDaddy and just do my new site for the astrological readings through the server.. by the way I got this domain which I think is a great name

ReadMyAstrology.com <http://readmyastrology.com/>

Great name. Easy to say and remember. It’s funny some people really dream.. the site “Interpretations” was for sale for $50K… dream on.. hope all day long that someone comes along with 50K and the burning need for the interpretations name..

I’m starring at “It Works” on the 15’s monitor.. Apache working..
