I have successfully setup an App Password with Google and put it into my Smart Host on my mail server software, and everything is working WITHOUT Allow Less Secure Apps… I had to secure my Google account according to their wishes.. follow their suggested steps to add two factor authentication and so on.. then the ability to generate an App Password appeared, I made it, put it into my mail server Smart Host and everything is working.. all mail is arriving including that sent with SMTPSend from the App Server.. YAY.
