I’m sorry I dont understand. I just accept things as they are.. I dont know what Character set I’m using into Omnis dont know how to check out what a source file is set upon but I can reserve source documents into new files and select UTF8 or what not.. 
Is there a setting in Omnis for what character set you are using?
