Issue launching remote form on server

I'm running into an issue on a remote forms deployment under Omnis 8.1.7.

 

This is on Windows Server 2016.  We're running Apache to keep things easier
instead of attempting to go down the road of trying to configure IIS which
we've been told is more difficult.

 

Either way, I've installed the Omnis App Server.  I've modified the
httpd.conf file to add the omnis Apache module.  I've set the port, etc.
Basically gone through all the deployment options.  Including moving the htm
files into the correct apache directory to allow the forms to work
correctly.

 

When I attempt to go to our login form, I get the following error 

 

"400 Bad Request - JSON does not start with OMNISServer parameter (Reported
by OMNIS Apache module)"

 

I checked to make sure the config.json file was in place.  Everything looks
to be in place.

 

Apache is running.  The Omnis App Server is running.  But I'm still dealing
with issues getting this first form to launch.

 

Chris Hughes - I'm copying you on this because you had posted this same
error back at the end of last year, but it didn't look like you got a
response at that point.  Was just curious what you may have found out.
