Studio and Chrome OS -- possible or not? Anybody gone down the rabbit hole?

Hi Doug,
Sorry to sidetrack the conversation - what I was trying to say is that the crossover software is probably the same on ChromeOS as on Mac or Linux, so it's theoretically possible to run Studio, in which case you'll probably encounter similar issues as we did.
Regards,
Paul.

It was a bit strange - opening a droplist drove CPU usage to 100%, things like that. More recently we tried using Wine on a relatively recent version of MacOSX (El-capitan? It's been a while...), and again, it allows you to run Omnis but it feels a bit clunky.

The question is happening more frequently recently as are clients are not for profits, so they get donated equipment. (And before you ask — yes, donated equipment is usually something that somebody else does not want for some good reason so they give it a way)
