Hi Paul et al.
I’m really looking for something to make Studio run on a Chromebooks using chrome os (android).
(the conversation got diverted to classic on OSX — a different, but probably equally useful problem to solve).

It was a bit strange - opening a droplist drove CPU usage to 100%, things like that. More recently we tried using Wine on a relatively recent version of MacOSX (El-capitan? It's been a while...), and again, it allows you to run Omnis but it feels a bit clunky.

The question is happening more frequently recently as are clients are not for profits, so they get donated equipment. (And before you ask — yes, donated equipment is usually something that somebody else does not want for some good reason so they give it a way)
