O$10: what is the rationale to skip O$9 ?

I don’t have a view on any numbering.  Names or letters or numbers, it’s just an ID.  But now with 10.x.x, we will have 2 significant numbers for the main version number, and not 1.  So if you check on just the first part into a single char, it will fail, and if you test for version > X, this might fail.

Otherwise, the new features that we have seen so far are really brilliant.  I especially like the talk about bringing the look and feel into the current decade as well.
