Microsoft Print to PDF

how about :

add Omnis studio and its pdfdevice xcomp embedded into your Omnis 7 setup and use them as your printing device :

- i havent't tested it but there's a chance Omnis Studio can open a *.rep file created by Omnis 7 and reprint it to pdf 
via pdfdevice.

- otherwise there's are several ways to launch silently Studio from 7, connect to the same df1 and print reports

You might think it's crazy, but i'm sure a solution based on these layers will last longer than anything based on MS 
installed drivers.
