export/import

I have a datafile (8 segments of .dfx), which appears to be corrupted.

It is currently in 4.3.x non-unicode.

In preparation to move to 8.0.x unicode, I tried a full check and repair, but I immediately get the beachball of doom (Mac).  If I try to just convert it, the counter goes indefinitely, long after the conversion bar is complete.

So I assume the datafile is corrupt.

The database has over 100 slots, and each slot has from 10 to 400 fields.  Using the tools Omnis has provided seems like a lot of work.

Does anyone have a useful tool to automate the export/import process?
