Hey Franco,

Keep in mind that the color settings in the OS often applies gamma
adjustments to things displayed so it all depends on how things are
displayed and whether those adjustments are applied.

I know preview always changes the color balance of images when
outputting them for instance, it can lead to some interesting color
changes...
