Printing from different printers in Omnis 5.1/ Win 7

I have an Omnis 5.1 application that is printing to an ID card printer and
other printers as needed.

When a User prints an ID card, then goes back to Omnis and prints to a
Laserjet for example, the format (size) of the print area stays the same as
the ID card.  In other words a 8 1/2 x 11 prints inside a 2 x 4 ID card
size.

If the User goes to a report and print previews, then goes back to print
the form, then the form prints like it should.

Any ideas on why Omnis is not letting go of the ID card printer driver?
Yes, it's most likely something was left out in the code, but what?
