O$ 5.2.3: runtime slow after unicode conversion from O$ 4.3

Did you test setting $prefs.$maxcachedclasses.$assign(xxx) to some greater value ?

Perhaps Studio5 unicode needs a bigger format cache to be so responsive than Studio4 non-unicode.
