Anyone using a check scanner?

Jock,
In Europe, cheques are nearly finished with. The UK banks tried to abolish them about 4 years ago, but the old folk got angry. Everybody younger than you and me uses card or Internet banking to process money nowadays.
We email invoices and then get an email notice that the funds have been transferred by bank transfer, all using Internet and those were gadgets that let you in.
Cheques are nearly dead in Europe.
