Hi Werner,

Thank you very much. Your solution below did the trick.

Had to copy a new copy of the OmnisRT into the folder as well as you said.

Something locks it up tight if you copy the folder to the Applications Folder.

Subject: RE: Omnis 4.3.1.2 - Mac OS 10.11.4

Hello,

I have also experienced this problem. It started with the release of OS
10.11.1

I use Studio 6.1.3. My app is also contained in one folder: libraries, datafiles and Omnis runtime.
But I drop my app's folder in the Documents Folder instead of in the Applications Folder.

So far I have been able to fix the problem as follows:

- Drop the app's folder in the Documents Folder and try to run it.
- If it doesn't run, change the permissions on the folder and its content to read/write for everyone.
- Drop another copy of the Omnis Runtime in the app's folder, replacing the original runtime. The important thing here seems to be to only copy the runtime and not the entire app folder.
- Run the app.

HTH,

Werner

We have a new client attempting to install our application on their MacBook.

There seems to be some type of permissions issue going on. When I attempt to start the OmnisRT package I get an error stating that there is a problem omening the userpict.df1 and then it is followed by a second error about the omnispic.df1.

Then it asks for the Serial Number which even if entered does not stay.

You can do this over and over. I have downloaded the files twice to the computer in case there was corruption.

My Mac here has the same OS and I have no issues.

Tried looking at the permission settings of the Folder it's in and the OmnisRT itself. All users seem to be set for Read/Write.

Any ideas?
