Omnis 4.3.1.2 - Mac OS 10.11.4

Hi Doug,

Yes, the customer has a MacBook. I have a iMac. Is there is difference in how permissions are worked there?

I am not using the FirstRun Install folder. Everything is self-contained in the "ClienTrax" folder. Libraries and OmnisRT all reside in the same folder.

As I said, I have done this probably 200 times and have never seen this issue.

I will look to see if the Applications Folder allows Read / Write. I see that mine does for system and admin but not everyone. Possibly this is where it's hanging up.

hi Michael?

are you using the ‘firstRunInstall’ folder setup in your OmnisRT folder??

best guess is latest macbook — you are getting nailed by permissions and it doesn’t like read/write to the /appliation directory.

also, look in system preferences —> security and privacy->genral .. and make sure you are not being blocked.

there may be something that says the app wondow run. and you have to allow it to run.
