Jan,

Your Java certs may not be where you expect them to be. Typically, they'd be in $JAVA_HOME/lib/security/cacerts

You can also specify an off-the-reservation Trust Store with the -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore setting.

And, you can test the chain with the SSLPoke function.

Subject: O$: Webservice consumer

Hi All

I'm working on a project in Windows 10 using Studio 6.1.3 and jre1.8.0_66
where I need to connect to a webservice via https. If i download the WSDL
file I can generate the webservice client fine in Studio but I cant get the
connection working afterwards to the web service. I get the following error
in the client when I try to connect.

"Exception when calling service: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException:
PKIX path building failed:
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find
valid certification path to requested target"

The certificates are added to cacerts but somehow they seem to be ignored.

Any ideas are most welcome !

Best Regards
Jan Eskilsson
