Headed list highlighted lines

Quickie for the great and the good :

If I have a headed list - and I have a line which is showing with red text (it’s an exception) - if I highlight it, the background of the line changes color - but so does the text (which gies white so you have no way of knowing it should be red !) - does anyone know if there is a way of leaving the text color unchanged when the line is highlighted ?

I have a feeling this is part Omnis and part system….:)

(For info this is currently on my mac - but the same applies to windows)
