Dear Omnis list members.

I have been selling and developing  a software package that I call "The Fast
Track Estimating  System" . The prime market is the electrical industry.
This has been happening since 1993. Because of our dwindling economy in
Australia and companies closing down, our sales have dropped significantly.
Now one of our largest clients (120 to 180 users) has been sold by the State
Government of NSW, the new owners have identified the software as being
vulnerable because I am a one person operation and are concerned that should
in the event of my death,  the backup and continued development would cease.

I was born in 1953 and do a walk of  5 km at least three times  a week to
keep fit.

Based on information from an internal source,  they want  a company that can
develop a system that is based on Structured Query Language (SQL).

We have 3 versions of Fast Track:-

A standalone system based on Omnis Data file system, partial networked.

A network system based on Omnis Data file system.

A network system based on PostgreSQL file system.

They like many customers do not want to change and have been happy using the
Omnis Native data file system despite the fact that real men use SQL all we
now have to do is convince the happy customers.

That is the background on my situation.

The question is does anybody out there want to offer a solution to the
problem I have.

Solutions, can someone direct me to software house preferable in Australia
that wants to develop  and Estimating Software package.

Solution, Does anybody out there want to form an Omnis developers company
based on the alliance method.
