O$: Studio 5 store & display pdf files

1) Using Frontbase database, but a BLOB column type

2) On MacOS X you can use the quicktime movie player control, use $loadmovie(thePath) 
On Windows there is the PDF reader component, use $loadfile(thePath)  also a zoom available here

3) On MacOS X we use Applescript   tell application "Finder" open "xxxx"  end tell
On Windows we use the Register DLL and Call DLL shell32.dll to open the document
