O$-4.3.2.1 Changing font in popup list

I want to change the font on MaxOSX to Courier so my columns of list 
items will align properly.  I am trying to change the default font for 
popup list in the #style property, but cannot assign a new font.  I have 
also tried to remove the fix the problem by removing the default 
Ctlpopuplist field style and then changing font to Courier.  That 
changes the display box only and not the drop down list.   Help 
appreciated.
