Hi Martin,

You can use:

Do FileOps.$getfileinfo(ivFilePath,kFileOpsInfoActualSize) Returns lvList

Then you can read it from the list.

Subject: pdf file size

Hi

Is there a way of finding the file size of a pdf that has just been made? I
am using 4.2 and Brainey Data to make the pdf

I have occasionally got what I take to be just a shell without any contents
so it cannot be read in Acrobat so need to trap that.

I had to correct a method where the pdf was being made of an empty report.

After the correction in the method, it has only happened on one day so far.
There were several unreadable reports (invoices to customers so not good).

I have now rewritten the method in case there is any corruption there but
would still like to be able to trap any small size pdf file.

Martin
