O7 and GO-Global

Hi Jim,

The versions of ODB prior to 1.6 (1.41 is the last recommended version for Omnis 7.3.8.3) required the clients to keep the connection alive within the odb timeout delay.

If you use fileops or web commands that exceed the delay you get the padlock, same thing if users open a menu and go for a coffee.

Other issues may come from the server but you can read messages.txt or view odb statistics. And check the antivirus exclusions on the server.

HTH
Alain
